Just Don't Tell My Friends...

Younger Son, who is 7, very kindly agreed to be my "model" so that I could check the fit on the Gooseberry Hat that I made for Megan. She's 6, so I figured that his head would be a reasonable substitute... The condition of his agreement? That I not tell his friends about the fact that there is a picture of him wearing a girl hat! Most 7 year old boys don't read knitting blogs - do they? (Or if they do it is because it's their Mom's blog and there is probably a picture of them wearing something equally embarassing. I'm pretty sure I'm safe.)

That is so funny! My 7 year old (son) saw it. but, he is used to the same kind of things -- I hold dresses up to him in stores to see if they will fit my niece (they are a day apart!)

I had my 11 yr old son model a sweater I made years ago the other day. He had his hat on and his head down. LOL These poor boys. :-)

It is a character building experience! I think he is adorable in the hat and those colors make his eyes look wonderful!

Too funny! When i went through my nail tech courses my hubby had to be my model for mani, pedi and acrylics! That boy wore red polish like a pro and got so frustrated having to wear the acrylics till we got home...couldn't work the radio buttons, but he looked good in pink & whites! *smile* what we put the men in our lives up to!

Hi Miss Me,
This is in reply to your comment on my blog about Groundhog Day. I don't know about shubenacadie sam (nova scotia) and wiarton willie (ontario, but in the US when Phil - the groundhog, sees his shadow he gets scared and goes back into his hole - which means 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow it means an early spring. Here in Maine, it really doesn't matter - we are in for at least two more months of winter!

Oh, I love the colors! That's funny - now whenever he doesn't clean his room, you can say "Well, I'll just have to take out that picture of you in a girl's hat..." LOL

I'll be in Buffalo for 10 days!
