I've seen this music meme on a number of different blogs recently and thought that it might be fun.
So, here are the rules:
A) Go to
musicoutfitters.comB) Enter the year you graduated from high school in the search function and get the list of 100 most popular songs of that year
C) Bold the songs you like, strike through the ones you hate and underline or italicize your favorite(s). Do nothing to the ones you don’t remember (or don’t care about).

Going through the list, I have come to wonder if there isn't a difference between the American and Canadian top 100. I'm amazed at how many of those songs I have never heard of and how many of my favourites are missing. Am I really that far off the beaten path? Time has dulled any memories of songs that I truly disliked at the time, so I haven't indicated any "dislikes". And way back in '82, I actually heard some of the bolded songs above live and in concert at
The Police Picnic 1982. Let's hear it for the band...!!!
