Other Signs of Spring

The buds on my lilac bush just ready to burst (and the studded winters tires in the background getting ready for storage) and
the return of LOADS of wildlife! This little red squirrel is almost tame enough to take food from your hand. Cute as he is, I think that he may be getting just a little too comfortable with us. He tried to wander into the house yesterday! Little does he realize just how unpleasant that would be for him, although Tiger would find it quite fun...

My Lilacs are budding too. It is very exciting...and eww, squirrels in the house just sounds stressful for the squirrel and for ME!

There are so many things (that I never really gave much thought to) that I'm learning from you. Studded tires. Who knew? And a long time ago you mentioned a block heater. I had to ask M about that one. Your squirrel is cute. Ours are brown/gray. I like the red tail. And ours just eat the bird food...but haven never come near our entering our house. We don't have a cat to chase them out.

I love lilacs! Sadly, our current residence has none.

My lilacs are really going to burst soon. I can not wait to sniff their scent! I love that little red squirrel of yours, he looks cute! I hate my grey rats with bushy tails, as I call them. Reggae would love to get his claws and jaws on them! Glad you are having some spring weather!

I wish I could grow some of the things you guys can....the humid weather here is just not good for them. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you....and Tiger would have loved a squirrel in the house....
