Wedding Shoes?

At this moment I am cursing myself for not being more tech savvy.
I have some fabulous, incredible and horrifying photos that I would so love to show you all, but alas, the faces of the people in the photos are showing, and I can't figure out how to blot them out! I don't know the people personally, but know someone who does know them, if you catch my drift...
They're wedding photos. The whole entire wedding party, from the flower girls to the bridesmaids to the groomsmen to the happy couple themselves, are all wearing Crocs. The men all have on black Crocs ('cuz that makes 'em dressy, right?), the bridesmaids and flowers girls have on hot pink Crocs ('cuz their dresses had pink - not hot pink, but pink all the same) and the bride has on white Crocs ('cuz what else would you wear with a wedding dress?). And we're not talking cute Mary Jane Crocs or Malindi Skimmer Crocs for the girls (maybe marginally better?), we're talking basic Beach Crocs for everyone.
I can't even imagine what Clinton and Stacey would say!
P.S. If I can figure out how to alter the photos, I'll post them. There is also a shot of one of the bridesmaid's backs. Imagine this: bigger girl, tattoo on each shoulder, halter dress, crossed over clear plastic bra straps...
P.P.S. I know this sounds judgemental. I'm sure I have committed fashion crimes of my own, but the wedding Crocs have left me speechless!

oh god.

I hate crocs, I think they are hideous. I could not imagine wearing them for a wedding.

That said, a friend of mine wore these super cute canvas sneakers...they were white with a light blue stripe and she replaced the laces with this pretty ribbon...but she has serious ankle problems and could not wear a regular shoe, even the slightest hint of heel causes an issue and she could not find flats. The effect was really cute and very her.

But she didn't force her wedding party to wear sneakers.

I love my crocs.
I cannot lie.
I love them on my gurlz.
I would never wear them with a wedding dress or anything like that. My gurlz wear them pretty much wherever they want.
I wore sport flip flops to work today with my dresspants. Cause my crocs definitely did not match.

Seriously!!! I do know a bride and groom who changed into flip flops for the reception, they're beach people. But...CROCS?!? Sheesh. If you really want help with the photos, you could email them to me.

Crocs are evil. A well-meaning friend got me a pair swearing they were the best thing for my foot issue, she loved hers. Oh, how wrong she was....i gave them away.

I agree that this is scary, but as the "source" of these horrifying photos, I feel that I have to defend my position. First of all, the photos were borrowed from another family members camera, so I didn't actually attend the event (nor was I invited, thank God - because people can usually tell what I'm thinking by the look on my face). The groom is my husband's first-cousin-once-removed, and I personally blame the Bride's side for the faux-pas, because most men just wear what we tell them to, right? My theory is that someone dreamed up the idea while drinking, then didn't have the presence of mind to recant...

I usually bust a gut laughing when these types of joke photos circulate; this time, though, I'm laughing and squirming in international shame at the same time. If anyone had bothered to ask me, I would have told them that wearing crocs to your wedding is definitely NOT ok !!!!! eek !!!

And for obvious reasons, this time I will choose to sign my post...
