Some Days Are Just Better Than Others...

Hello to anybody out there who might still be watching for updates from me.  Okay - so the wheels aren't exactly back on, but some days are better than others.
As an example - this summarizes a recent bad day...  Yes, this is my employer.  No, I was not one of the people who received "a letter", so I guess that while it was a bad day overall at the office, it was worse for some than it was for me.  Yes, I know that in this economy, I should really just be grateful to have a good job.  I'm still working on the whole big picture thing...
Now today would not count as being a particularly special or unusual day in any way, shape or form - with one exception.  I am back doing what is my "real" job after almost 4 years of assignments.  This means that I am back dealing with clients.  I had a client visit today.  A client I had never met before.  Imagine my delight when one of the client staff was wearing a hand knit Viking hat, complete with braids!!!  He looked fabulous!  It made my day.  Engineers are clearly way more fun than their reputation might lead one to believe...
